Meet The Therapist
Kristin Iannuzzelli, M.Ed, LPC, ADHD-CCSP, E- RYT
I founded Calm Heart Counseling after spending nearly two decades of my life in an East Coast urban setting, in Philadelphia, PA. When I moved to Colorado I found, firsthand, the steadying power of time spent outdoors. Each week, I am grateful to be rock climbing, biking, hiking, meditating, birding, or a variety of other grounding activities in the nature.
These vital practices - and many others - are much more than hobbies; they are nourishment and medicine to our souls. I've discovered, both in practice and in my own life, how much nature amplifies the work we do to heal.
My clinical training has focused on ADHD/Neurodivergence, the lasting impact of emotionally immature parents, life transitions, anxiety, and depression. A lifelong student, we can integrate my training in somatic practices, EMDR, Parts Work, and ADHD coaching in our work together.
Long before I became a therapist, I was drawn to practices that balance the mind and body. I became a yoga teacher in 2009. I still teach regularly and continue my training in mindfulness, meditation and breath work, weaving these practices, and more, into my therapeutic style.
Living in Colorado, surrounded by trails and open sky, is part of why I now offer therapy outdoors — I've seen how nature can heal, teach, and guide us and I loving sharing in that experience with my clients.
